Berry Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. honey
1 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. ground mustard
1/2 tsp. grated onion
1/4 tsp. celery seed
dash salt
1/3 c. vegetable oil
8 c. torn mixed salad greens
2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 medium red onion, sliced into rings
1/3 c. slivered almonds, toasted
Preparation

Combine the first 9 ingredients and microwave on high for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes; stir until sugar is dissolved.
Whisk in oil. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
In a salad bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and drizzle with the dressing and serve. Yield: 12-14 servings.
