Apple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. water
2 c. chopped pared apples
cooking oil
sugar
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine first five ingredients.
Lightly beat eggs with water; add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
Fold in apples.
In a skillet, heat oil to 375\u00b0.
Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into oil and fry until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Roll in sugar.
Serve warm.
Yields 40 fritters.
