Coconut Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. coconut
    2 c. jam
    3 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. each: cloves, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Bake in layers at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
    Ice with caramel icing.
