Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. shortening (Crisco or oleo)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 beaten egg (add to warm liquid)
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Place all dry ingredients except 1 cup of the flour.
    Using dough hook, turn mixer on low to mix dry ingredients.
    Heat milk, water and shortening until shortening melts.
    Cool (to 105\u00b0 to 115\u00b0).
    Gradually add liquid to dry mixture (low speed).
    Mix about 2 minutes.
    Continuing at low speed gently tap remaining flour.
    Mix until dough clings to hook and cleans sides of bowl. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover.
    Store dough in refrigerator at least 2 hours or until needed.
    Shape dough on a floured board into clover leaf or your favorite dinner roll.
    Let rise in a warm place until light, about 1 1/2 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
