Apple Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 apple, cut in 1/4 inch wedges
Preparation
    Grease 9-inch tube pan.
    Combine pecans, 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
    In large bowl beat butter and 1 cup sugar.
    When creamy beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add flour and dry ingredients alternately with sour cream, 1/4 at a time.
    Spread half of batter in pan.
    Arrange apple slices on this and sprinkle with 1/2 pecan mixture.
    Add remaining batter, then pecan mixture.
    Bake 50 to 55 minutes at 325\u00b0.
