Pineapple Squares - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. oleo
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 small bottle maraschino cherries, cut up
1/2 tsp. almond extract
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg whites
3 Tbsp. sugar
coconut
Preparation
-
Beat eggs whites until very stiff.
Add sugar.
Spread over layer No. 2.
Sprinkle with coconut and brown in oven.
