Moonshine Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans pork and beans (any brand)
    approximately 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. apple juice or whiskey (I prefer apple juice)
    1/4 c. brown sugar or molasses (2 Tbsp. sweetener if cooking for a diabetic)
Preparation
    Fry onion in bacon grease; drain.
    Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a buttered baking dish.
    Bake approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
    Serve hot or cold.
