Crock-Pot No-Bean Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. olive oil
3 1/2 lb. boneless beef chuck or round, trimmed and cut in pieces
2 large onions
2 medium green peppers
2 fresh jalapeno peppers
1/3 c. chili powder
1 Tbsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt
1 c. beer
3 Tbsp. cornmeal
Preparation

Heat 2 tablespoons oil and saute beef.
Saute onions, green peppers, jalapeno peppers and chili powder; add seasonings and stir.
Remove from pan and add beer; pour in crock-pot with meat. Cover and cook 6 to 7 hours on medium-low.
Skim fat, thicken by adding cornmeal.
Cook additional 15 minutes uncovered.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
