Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 5 Tbsp. warm water
5 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3 Tbsp. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. Crisco
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix together the flour and all other dry ingredients.
Cut Crisco into flour mixture.
Make a
hole in center of flour and add yeast water and buttermilk.
Mix with fork then roll out adding flour as needed.
Cut and bake or freeze.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
