Oatmeal Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine, softened
    1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 1/2 c. oats
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
    Add flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Mix well.
    Stir in oats, raisins and nuts; mix well.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes for chewy or 12 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies in 375\u00b0 oven.
    Cool 1 minute in pan, then remove to wire rack and cool completely.
    Makes 5 dozen.
