Holiday Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    6 eggs
    4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add flour and salt gradually, blending in well.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour in well-greased pan and bake 70 to 75 minutes in a 300\u00b0 oven, preheated.
