Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 scant salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour milk
    2 c. rhubarb, chopped and floured
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream the 1 1/2 cups sugar with shortening.
    Add eggs and beat.
    Sift dry ingredients into mixture, alternating with sour milk.
    Beat. Add vanilla and floured rhubarb, mix well.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar, butter and cinnamon; sprinkle over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
