Ham And Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cabbage, coarsely shredded
    2 c. cubed, cooked ham
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 can Cheddar cheese soup
Preparation
    Cook cabbage until tender in water with a little salt.
    Do not overcook (6 to 8 minutes).
    Drain well.
    Saute ham in butter until lightly browned.
    Mix in flour, milk, salt and soup.
    Place layers of cabbage and sauce in baking dish.
    Cover with buttered bread crumbs.
    Brown for 15 or 20 minutes in moderate oven.
