Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. jam
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Stir all dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk and jam. Pour into tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
