Frozen Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    1 large carrot, shredded
    1 large green pepper, shredded
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cabbage and salt; let stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze out excess juice.
    Add carrot and green pepper.
    Let stand and make the liquid solution with the remaining ingredients.
    Boil these ingredients 1 minute.
    Cool to lukewarm, then pour salad in containers with lids.
    Close tightly and place in deep freezer and use as needed.
    Unused portion may be refrozen.
