Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    4 carrots
    1 purple onion
    1/3 c sugar
    1/3 c vinegar
    1/3 c oil
Preparation
    Chop or shred vegetables. Mix other ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage mixture and cover let cool.
    Put in refrigerator overnite.
    Drain before serving.
