Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 coarsely chopped, peeled apples
1 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Combine apples and sugar in large bowl.
Let stand 10 minutes. Sift flour; add soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
Set aside.
Blend oil and egg into apple/sugar mixture.
Add dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Fold in raisins and walnuts.
Spread evenly in greased and floured 8 x 8-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
