Georgia Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. each candied pineapple, cherries and raisins
5 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
5 eggs
1/8 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour (unsifted)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten eggs.
Add baking powder to flour, then sift twice.
Add 1 cup flour to nuts and fruit.
Add another cup of flour to creamed mixture.
Mix thoroughly.
Add lemon flavoring.
Mix flour, nuts and fruit together by hand.
Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Put into ungreased tube pan and place in cold oven.
Put pan of water on bottom shelf.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 2 hours.
