Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 sticks corn oil margarine
1 c. oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. cornflake crumbs
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream the butter.
Gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs and beat well.
Add oil and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oatmeal, cornflake crumbs, coconut and pecans. Shape dough into balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten each ball with fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire racks. Yields about 7 dozen.
