Mother'S Brown Sugar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. butter and lard
    1 c. thick milk
    1/2 tsp. soda (in milk)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat up brown sugar, eggs, butter and lard and milk (with soda).
    Fold in beaten egg whites last.
    Bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
