Riz Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lukewarm buttermilk
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/3 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in milk.
    Sift flour and sugar; cut in shortening.
    Mix and knead.
    Roll out into 1/4-inch thickness. Cut and brush with butter.
    Place one on top of the other and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
    Bake at 395\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
