Minute Fudge Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 oz. chocolate, cut fine
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Bring to a boil, stirring.
Boil gently 1 minute.
Beat until lukewarm.
Add vanilla; beat and spread.
Covers top of 2 layers. If more frosting is desired, double recipe and cook 4 minutes.
