Polish Sausage And Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. kielbasa, sliced
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. celery with leaves, chopped
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. carrots, sliced
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. dried leaf thyme
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. beef bouillon
    5 c. water
    3 c. potatoes, cubed
Preparation
    In a large kettle, melt butter and add kielbasa, onion and celery.
    Cook until very tender.
    Add remaining ingredients, except potatoes.
    Cover and cook for 1 1/2 hours.
    Add potatoes, cover and cook 25 minutes longer.
    Good with hot French bread.
