Chocolate Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (I prefer the liquid packets)
    4 c. coarse bread crumbs
    1/4 c. butter or oleo, melted
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald the milk with the chocolate and butter in it.
    Pour over the bread crumbs.
    Cool a little.
    Then add the egg, sugar and vanilla mixture.
    Pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until silver knife inserted comes out clean.
    Serve warm with or without hard sauce or cream.
