Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9-inch baked pastry shell
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
4 egg yolks
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 lemons, grate rind
4 egg whites for meringue
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt together.
Add to boiling water, stirring constantly and cook over low heat until mixture is thickened and transparent in color.
Add beaten egg yolks; stir well.
Remove from heat; add lemon juice and rind. Cool; pour lemon filling into pastry shell.
Make meringue and cover top of pie.
