Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. popped corn (1/2 c. popcorn)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup, water, salt and vinegar.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
    Boil until 260\u00b0 or until it has reached hard boil stage.
    Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
    Stir to mix.
    Slowly pour syrup over popcorn.
    Stir with wooden spoon.
    Dampen hands with cold water and press into balls.
    Wrap in plastic wrap.
