Cupid'S Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. raw peanuts
1 Tbsp. oleo
dash of vanilla
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2/3 c. syrup
red cake coloring

Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup, milk and peanuts over low heat.
Cook until soft ball stage.
Remove from heat; add oleo and vanilla.
Butter platters and drop by tablespoons on plate.
