Mother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, Crisco and eggs until blended.
    Sift dry ingredients together except soda.
    Add soda to buttermilk.
    Add flavorings to egg mixture.
    Add buttermilk to egg mixture, then add dry ingredients.
    Beat well.
    Pour in well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 75 minutes.
