Doubled-Up Oreo Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. half and half
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    4 c. whipping cream
    24 double stuffed Oreos, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Scald milk until bubbles form around edge.
    Remove from heat. Add sugar and salt.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Stir in half and half, vanilla and whipping cream.
    Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Stir in crushed to chilled mixture.
    Freeze.
    Makes 1 gallon.
