Rhubarb Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter--heaping
    1 cup white sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 cup milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1-1/4 cup flour
    pinch of salt
    3 cups finely cut rhubarb
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup boiling water
Preparation
    Cream butter and 1 cup sugar.
    Add egg, milk, baking powder, flour and salt.
    Mix well and put in bottom of 9 x 9 inch pan.
