Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 1/4 c. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients (except butter and vanilla) on medium heat, stir constantly until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute.
    Blend half of mixture in egg yolks, then stir in mixture and boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Pour in baked shell and top with meringue.
