Pilgrim Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin (2 c.)
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves (ground)
1/2 tsp. salt
whipped cream to garnish
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Prepare pie crust.
In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat pumpkin with all other ingredients (not whipped cream) until well mixed.
Place pie plate on oven rack and pour pumpkin pie mixture into pie crust.
Bake 15 minutes.
Turn oven down to 350\u00b0 and bake 35 minutes or until filling is set.
Let cool.
Top with whipped cream.
