Zucchini Pie - cooking recipe

1 large zucchini, peeled and sliced
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
1 recipe 2 crust pie pastry
butter
Preparation

Cook the zucchini in salted water in saucepan for 2 minutes; drain. Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
Layer dry mixture and zucchini in pastry lined pie plate until all ingredients are used. Dot with butter.
Top with remaining pastry. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes or until browned.
