Hot Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 red chili peppers
    12 green chili peppers
    6 medium onions
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Discard seed from peppers.
    Put peppers and onions through food chopper.
    Add salt; cover with boiling water.
    Let stand 10 minutes and drain off liquid and
    discard.
    Bring sugar and vinegar to boil; add pepper mixture and simmer for 20 minutes. Ladle into hot, sterilized jars.
    Seal at once.
    Process at 212\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
