Pork Chops And Wild Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops (1 to 1 1/4-inch thick)
    1 pkg. wild long grain rice (with herb season)
    1 tomato
    1 bell pepper
    1 onion
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in hot oil.
    Pour off excess grease. Add rice.
    Place a slice of tomato, bell pepper and onion on each chop. Salt and pepper to taste. Add approximately 2 cups water. Bring to a boil.
    Cut down to simmer. Cook about 40 minutes.
    May need to add water from time to time.
    Can hold on the stove for 1 1/2 hours.
