Guacamole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large ripe avocado
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon or lime juice
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. finely diced green chilies
    1 small tomato, seeded and chopped fine
    1 clove garlic, finely minced
    1/4 tsp. salt, if desired
Preparation
    Peel avocado; remove flesh from pit.
    Place in bowl with lemon or lime juice; mash with fork.
    Stir in onion, chilies, tomato, garlic and salt, if desired.
    Cover; chill.
    Yield: About 1 1/2 cups.
