Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    1 lb. shredded potatoes
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown chops on both sides in skillet. Cook potatoes in 1 cup of boiling water for 15 minutes.
    Drain. Spoon into a lightly greased shallow baking dish.
    Add 1/4 cup of onion.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Top with chops and remaining onions.
    Pour soup evenly all over.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 30 minutes longer or until meat is tender.
