Squash Pickle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. thinly sliced squash
    2 c. thinly chopped onion
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    3 c. sugar
    4 bell peppers, chopped
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. vinegar
    2 heaping Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine
    squash,
    onion
    and bell pepper. Sprinkle with salt. Let stand 1 hour;
    drain well.
    Combine vinegar, celery seed and mustard
    seed
    in
    a pan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add the squash mixture
    and bring to a hard boil, about 1 minute.\tNow it's ready for the jars.
