Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. finely chopped celery
    1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    butter
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine meat, celery, bread crumbs, egg, salt, pepper and onion.
    Shape into oval patties 1-inch thick.
    Brown on both sides in butter in a skillet.
    Combine soup and water, then pour around meat.
    Cook slowly in covered skillet for 25 minutes.
    Serves 6.
