Hot Water Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over shortening.
    Add salt and stir until creamy.
    Add the flour, which has been sifted before measuring and mix thoroughly.
    Chill.
    This will make enough for one 2-crust medium sized pie.
