Six Layer Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 box frozen peas (unthawed)
    8 slices fried bacon
    shredded mild Cheddar cheese
    boiled eggs
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Layer in 8
    x
    10-inch
    pan:
    Lettuce, then onion, then peas. Mix mayonnaise and
    sugar together and spread on top of peas. Sprinkle on
    cheese
    and bacon which has been crumbled. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
