Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large hen, cooked and cut into small pieces
1 stick margarine
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped green pepper
5 oz. noodles
1 c. drained mushrooms or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans cream of chicken soup
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Melt margarine in skillet. Add onion, celery and green pepper. Saute until tender. Add mushrooms 3 minutes before removing from heat.
Place cut up chicken in large bowl.
Put lemon juice over it. Stir.
Add sauteed vegetables.
Heat chicken soup.
Stir into chicken (don't boil) the Worcestershire sauce.
Combine soup mixture and fold in grated cheese.
Cook noodles. Add to other ingredients.
Makes 2 large casseroles.
If casseroles are in refrigerator before baking, bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
If baking immediately, bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
If frozen, thaw 2 to 3 hours; bake 1 hour.
