Easy Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. very warm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. warm water
    1 egg, beaten
    8 c. sifted plain flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water; cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, salt, yeast and 2 cups water and mix well.
    Add flour and mix thoroughly.
    Set in refrigerator and use as needed.
