Pita Pizza Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pita breads (6-inch diameter)
    2 c. sliced mushrooms (about 5 oz.)
    1 small red onion, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped fresh or 2 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1 c. finely shredded Mozzarella cheese (4 oz.)
    1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Split each bread in half around edge with knife to make 4 rounds.
    Place rounds.
    Top with onion and bell pepper.
    Sprinkle with basil and cheese.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Cut each round into 8 pieces.
    Makes 32 appetizers, 25 calories per appetizer.
