Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
4 medium bananas, mashed
2 c. plain flour
dash of salt
1 tsp. soda
3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, then banana pulp. Add flour, salt and soda. Stir in pecans and pour into greased and floured tube or loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Better if wrapped while slightly warm.
