Carrots Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed to 3/4 c.
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. shredded American cheese
    4 c. sliced carrots, cooked and drained
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
Preparation
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter. Combine with crushed corn flakes. Set aside for topping.
