Old Fashioned Roast Turkey(Or Breast Of Turkey) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 to 16 lb.) turkey or turkey breast
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. seasoning salt
    1 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1 to 2 c. water
Preparation
    Rinse turkey quickly
    and
    pat
    dry.
    Reserve
    neck and giblets for gravy.
    Brush
    turkey
    with small amount of melted butter.
    Combine seasonings and
    use amount needed on skin and cavity (to taste).
    Add 1 to
    2 cups water.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 3 to 4 hours.
    If
    not
    brown,
    remove cover and bake for 30 more minutes at
    300\u00b0.
    Cover
    turkey
    on
    platter with foil to let it absorb
    juices.
    It
    can
    then
    be stuffed with herbed seasoning such
    as
    Pepperidge Farm stuffing mixed with celery and sauteed chopped onion.
