Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. reserved chicken broth
    1 stick butter
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    1 can mixed vegetables (optional)
Preparation
    Boil chicken until tender.
    Remove bones.
    Cut into small pieces and put into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
