Ingredients

2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. shredded coconut
dash of salt
2/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Beat egg whites with a dash of salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar.
Beat until stiff peaks form.
Fold in coconut and vanilla.
Drop batter by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in slow oven at 325\u00b0
for about 20 minutes. Makes about 18 cookies.
