Santa'S Whiskers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. rum extract
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. candied cherries (red and green), finely chopped
    1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
    3/4 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; blend in milk and rum extract.
    Stir in flour, cherries and nuts.
    Form into 3 rolls, each about 10-inches long. Roll in coconut.
    Wrap and chill several hours or overnight. Slice 1/4 inch thick.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes or until edges are golden.
